Health Observances

Throughout the year, health agencies around the country celebrate National Health Observances. These events, associated with a specific day, a week, or an entire month, bring awareness to chronic diseases, habits, and conditions impacting the health of Americans, such as smoking, teen pregnancy, and heart disease.
