The state of Georgia has a new COVID-19 hotline. If you believe that you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to the novel coronavirus, please contact your primary care doctor, an urgent care clinic, or your local federally qualified healthcare center. Please DO NOT show up unannounced at an emergency room or health care facility.

COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Testing:

COVID-19 testing is NOT currently available at the Clayton County Health District.

Call your local HEALTHCARE PROVIDER or HOSPITAL by phone if you feel sick with fever, cough, or have difficulty breathing AND have been in close contact with a person known or suspected to have COVID-19, or if you live in or recently traveled from an area with ongoing spread of COVID-19.

As described by the CDC, Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory illness that mainly spreads from person to person (within about six feet) through sneezing and coughing.
